SAN FRANCISCO (Daily Pakistan Online) A survey conducted among employees by Facebook's parent company Meta has revealed that only 26 percent of employees have confidence in CEO Mark Zuckerberg's leadership. According to a report by the Washington Post, internal surveys have seen a five percent decrease compared to October last year. Only 43 percent of employees expressed appreciation, down from 58 percent in October.

Morale among Facebook employees has dipped after months of unrest. Over the past year, Facebook has laid off 21,000 employees, budget cuts and strategic changes. The company is canceling low-priority projects and cutting jobs to improve its financial performance and achieve long-term goals. According to Reuters, Meta has also struggled due to reduced advertising spending by companies facing inflation and rising interest rates.
