New Delhi (Pakistan Online) India's internet economy is expected to grow sixfold and reach one trillion dollars by 2030.

A joint report by Google, Temasek, and Bain & Company estimated India's internet economy to be in the range of $155-175 billion in 2022. B2C e-commerce will account for most of the growth in the coming years. This will be followed by B2B e-commerce, software-as-a-service providers, and online media led by over-the-top (OTT) players.

Sanjay Gupta, Country Manager, and Vice President, Google India, detailing the report, said that India's internet economy is expected to grow six-fold to $1 trillion by 2030. In the future, most purchases will be done digitally. Startups have adopted a digital approach. Small and medium-sized businesses and large enterprises have started using digital technologies to become more competitive after the pandemic.
